Hey, here's something of a fun(?) fact - I found this out yesterday because I was looking into new video essays, Abigail Thorn of Philosophy Tube fame made my exact argument about gender dysphoria being exhibited by both cis and trans people (while only being pathologized and used to deny healthcare in trans people!) in her video essay, "I Emailed My Doctor 133 Times: The Crisis in the British Healthcare System," starting at 1:04:46. I did not know that she talked about that, years before me! I feel vindicated that a philosopher and actress I respect so much had the same thought, that the divide between trans and cis people is not all that different in internal experience, it's mostly about how the system treats us differently. I don't think Ms. Thorn knows about alterhumanity, but if she ever finds out, I hope she'll have as much fun analyzing the compare/contrast between humanity and nonhumanity as I did.
